The short version
- Only send footage, music, logos and examples you have the right to use.
- Everyone who appears in your footage must have agreed to be in a video for your business. For anyone under 18, that means a parent or guardian.
- We don’t edit sexual content, hateful or violent content, deceptive ads, fake endorsements or videos that pretend to be someone else.
- Don’t try to break, overload or trick our systems, including the AI that plans your edit.
- If something breaks these rules, we can refuse it, pause it, remove it or close the account.
This summary is here to help you read the page. The full text below is what applies.
What this policy covers
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything you send us or ask us to make: footage, music, logos, reference videos, briefs, notes and the finished videos themselves (together, your content). It also covers how you use the website and your workspace.
Content you have the right to use
You may only send us content that you own or have permission to use for this purpose. That means:
- footage you filmed, or that whoever filmed it allowed you to use;
- music you own or have a license for that covers use in your videos on the platforms you post to;
- logos, names and trademarks that belong to your business or that you are allowed to use;
- reference videos you send for Copy a style, which we only study to learn the look. We don’t put their footage, music or graphics into your video.
People in your footage
Everyone who can be clearly seen or heard in your footage must have agreed to appear in a video promoting your business, and you must be able to show that if asked. For anyone under 18, the agreement must come from a parent or legal guardian. Do not send footage filmed somewhere people expected privacy (a bathroom, a changing room, a medical appointment) unless everyone shown agreed in writing.
If someone asks you to take them out of a video, tell us and we will help you remove them from anything we are still working on.
Content we never accept
Do not send, or ask us to make, content that:
- sexualizes anyone under 18 in any way. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement, as the law requires;
- is sexually explicit, or shares intimate images of anyone without their consent;
- harasses, threatens, bullies or targets a person or group, or promotes hatred or violence;
- promotes self-harm, terrorism, or illegal goods and services;
- is defamatory, or invades someone’s privacy;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
Honest videos
You are responsible for what your video says about your business. Do not use our service to make:
- a video that pretends to be, or falsely implies the endorsement of, a real person, business or government body;
- an altered video of a real person that could fool a viewer into thinking it is real;
- fake reviews or testimonials, or a testimonial that hides a paid or family connection (see the Federal Trade Commission’s rules on endorsements);
- claims you can’t back up, including health, medical, financial or “guaranteed results” claims;
- political ads that misrepresent a candidate or an election.
We check spelling and names you give us, but we don’t check whether your claims are true. That stays your responsibility.
Using our systems fairly
Do not:
- put instructions in a brief, a note, a file name or a file that try to make our AI or our computers do anything other than edit your video, reach another customer’s content, or get around your plan’s limits;
- upload malware or files built to crash or exploit software;
- probe, scan or test our systems for weaknesses, or get around sign-in, upload limits or billing, unless we have agreed to it in writing;
- scrape the site, or use automated tools to sign up, upload or submit;
- share your sign-in with people outside your business, or resell our service without our written OK;
- copy our website, workspace or editing process to build a competing service.

What we do when something breaks these rules
We don’t watch every upload as it arrives, but our software sees your content while we edit it, and our team may look at it when an edit fails or something is reported. If we believe something breaks this policy or the law, we may, at our discretion, refuse to edit it, pause the video, remove the content, limit or suspend your account, or close it under our Terms. Where the law requires it, we report content to the authorities and keep what they need. When we can, we tell you what happened and why.
To report content made with our service that you believe breaks this policy, email support@dunamisofficial.com. For copyright, follow our Copyright Policy.
