Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

The short version

  • We collect what we need to run your account, take payment and edit your videos: your email, your business details, your footage and your notes.
  • We use your footage only to make your videos. We don’t sell your information, we don’t run ads, and we don’t use trackers that follow you around the web.
  • We may email you news, tips and offers about Dunamis. You can unsubscribe at any time. We will never sell, rent or trade your email address.
  • A few companies help us run the service, such as hosting, payments and the AI that plans your edit. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Our AI provider doesn’t train its models on what we send it.
  • You can download your data or close your account yourself, any time, on the Your account page. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your information.

This summary is here to help you read the page. The full text below is what applies.

Who we are

Dunamis AI (“we”, “us”) runs dunamisofficial.com and the editing service you reach through it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, your workspace and the videos we make. For anything in it, email support@dunamisofficial.com.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your email address, and your password if you set one. We store the password only in scrambled (hashed) form, so we cannot read it.
  • Business and brand details: your business name, logo, colors, call to action and names you ask us to spell.
  • Your content: footage, music, logos, reference videos, briefs, review notes, ratings and comments you give a draft, and the finished videos. Footage often shows people’s faces and voices, and sometimes places, documents or screens. We handle all of it as personal information.
  • Messages: what you send us by email or in your workspace.

Information created while we edit

  • Transcripts of the speech in your footage, made on our own computers, so we can caption it and cut on the right words.
  • Where faces and the speaker are in the frame, so captions and graphics don’t cover anyone’s face. This finds where a face is, not whose it is: we don’t identify people, and we don’t create face templates or voiceprints.
  • Edit plans and quality checks that describe your footage and the finished video.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time, kept in our hosting and security logs. When you agree to our terms, we keep the time, your IP address and your browser type as the record of that agreement.
  • Cookies and browser storage: see Cookies below.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card or bank details on Stripe’s page, not ours, so we never see or store your full card or account number. Stripe tells us your plan, what you paid, and whether a payment succeeded.

How we use it

  • to create and secure your account and sign you in;
  • to plan, edit, check and deliver your videos, and to make the changes you ask for;
  • to take payment, keep track of your plan and send receipts;
  • to reply to you and send messages about your account and your videos;
  • to send you news, tips and offers about Dunamis by email (see below);
  • to keep the service safe: to stop abuse, enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy, and fix problems;
  • to follow the law, and to respond to lawful requests.

Your footage is used to make your videos. We don’t use it to make anyone else’s video, and we don’t show your videos to anyone outside the people working on them unless you give us permission (see the Terms). A saved style you build with Copy a style stays in your account.

Marketing emails

When you give us your email address, we may send you emails about Dunamis: new features, tips for better videos and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in the email or by emailing support@dunamisofficial.com. Unsubscribing does not stop messages about your account, your videos or your payments.

We will never sell, rent or trade your email address or any other personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

How we use AI

AI plans, assembles and checks your edit. No person reviews a draft before you see it; our team looks at a video when an edit fails. To do that, we send the AI provider the text of your brief and notes, transcripts of your footage, and still frames from your footage and drafts. Our provider today is Anthropic (the maker of Claude), and we use it with model training turned off, so Anthropic doesn’t use what we send to train its models. It keeps what we send only for a limited time, to provide the service and check for misuse.

The speech-to-text, face finding and rendering run on computers we control. We don’t use your footage to train AI models of our own.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with these service providers, who act for us under contracts that limit their use of it to providing their service:

Vercel
hosts the website (United States).
Supabase
stores accounts, workspaces and uploaded files (United States).
Brevo
sends our emails, such as sign-in links (European Union).
Stripe
handles payments, invoices and the billing portal.
Anthropic
provides the AI that helps plan and check edits (see above).

We may also share information:

  • when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our customers, the public or us;
  • with a buyer or successor if the business is sold or reorganized, under the same promises as this policy;
  • with anyone else you ask us to share it with.

How long we keep it

  • Your finished videos, drafts, logo, brand kit, music and styles stay while your account is open, so you can download your videos again. You can ask us to delete any video and its footage sooner.
  • The clips you upload for a video, and its extra clips, are deleted 14 days after you approve the video. Footage you have not used in an approved video stays.
  • Uploads that don’t finish are deleted after a day.
  • Working copies of your footage on our editing computers are deleted once the video is finished or canceled. They are not copied into our long-term backups.
  • When you close your account, we start deleting your workspace, its content and your sign-in at once, and anything we could not remove straight away is gone within 30 days. If you are a member of someone else’s workspace, you leave it and its content stays with them. Backup copies held by our hosting providers expire on their own schedule, within 90 days.
  • Billing records, including the record of when you agreed to our terms, are kept as long as tax, accounting and consumer law require, usually seven years.
  • Logs are kept for a short time for security, then deleted.

We may keep information longer when the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute or deal with abuse.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the site needs to work:

  • Sign-in cookies that keep you signed in to your workspace;
  • Browser storage that remembers light or dark mode, the progress of an upload so it can resume (including the file’s name), and a few screen settings, such as which tips you’ve seen.

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t let other companies track you across sites through ours. Because we don’t track you across sites, our site responds the same way whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal: either way, we don’t sell or share your information.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong;
  • delete your information, or a specific video and its footage;
  • stop sending you marketing and other non-essential emails.

You can do two of these yourself, any time, on the Your account page in your workspace: Download your data gives you a copy of everything your workspace holds, and Close your account deletes it, as described in How long we keep it.

For anything else, email support@dunamisofficial.com from the address on your account. We may need to confirm it’s you before we act. We reply within 30 days, and we won’t treat you differently for asking. Some states give you these rights by law; if you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can reply and ask us to look again, and you may be able to contact your state attorney general.

For people who appear in your footage, you decide what is filmed and sent to us, and we handle it on your behalf to make your video. You are responsible for having their permission, as our Acceptable Use Policy explains.

If you appear in someone else’s video and want to be removed, contact the business that made it. You can also email us, and we’ll pass your request to them and remove you from anything we are still editing.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls that keep each customer’s workspace separate, short-lived download links and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you as the law requires.

Children

Our service is for businesses, and account holders must be 18 or older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. Footage may show children only when a parent or guardian has agreed (see our Acceptable Use Policy); we use it only to make that customer’s video. If you think a child has given us information directly, email support@dunamisofficial.com and we will delete it.

Where your information is stored

We and our service providers store and process information in the United States. The service is intended for customers in the United States.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we email account holders before it takes effect.
